The GWDG supports digital learning and access to free educational resources at schools in times of Corona through its participation in the open education portal “WirLernenOnline”. On the basis of its Kubernetes cluster, GWDG provides the necessary powerful and highly available infrastructure, which enables it to provide server capacities tailored to the number of users.

Hereby the Göttingen eResearch Alliance announces the next event of the eResearch Lab. The topic is “Working with GRO.data“, the research data repository for the Göttingen Campus.

The tutorial introduces the usage of GRO.data alongside the basic concepts of research data management (data, metadata, data collection, data citation, persistent identifiers etc.). It shows how to log in, create a dataset or metadata, how to collaborate with peers. The format is a mixture of presentation and a hands-on session.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen invites applications for Full Professor (W2) for High Performance Computing (all genders welcome).
