The data centre of the GWDG is closed from 22.12.2018 to 26.12.2018 and from 29.12.2018 to 01.01.2019. On 27.12.2018 and 28.12.2018 the data centre is only opened from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and there is only a restricted secretarial service.

The Call for Papers and Workshops for the HPC-Conference Euro-Par 2019 , which will take place from 26th to 30th August 2019 in Göttingen and will be organized by the GWDG, has started.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 18.12.2018, the fire alarm system in the FMZ will be replaced between 7:00 am and probably 10:00 am. The operating technology of the University of Göttingen as well as the participating companies have assured that the power supply will be guaranteed during this maintenance work so that there will be no interference with the systems and services located
